Worthington was formed by a group of long standing childhood friends predating the band and enduring today. Formed in Walla Walla in the early 1990s, obsessed with REM, The Pixies, and The Smiths tempered with hyper-melodic '80s new wave. Worthington married soaring melodic soundscapes with crashing dissonant features. The culmination of their work was the masterful “He was not a Micromanager”
